Dhaka: Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, said a met office release here today. Country’s highest rainfall was recorded by 77mm at Sylhet and lowest rainfall was 44mm for the last 24-hour.

Maximum temperature was recorded on Thursday jointly by 33.8 degrees Celsius at Jessore and Chuadanga and minimum temperature today was recorded 23.4 degrees Celsius at Rangpur.

The sun sets on Friday at 6.14pm and rises at 5.41am on Saturday in the capital.
