4 BD peacekeepers hurt in Mali explosion

Dhaka: Four Bangladeshi peacekeepers including three officers in the UN mission suffered critical injuries in an explosion at Tabankort in Mali on Sunday, said an official release of Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate.
The injured, Major Ashraf (AMC), Major Shahriar (signal core) Major Tushid Barua (armored core) and soldier Shariful (infantry), are now undergoing treatment at French hospital in Mali, the release also said.
The blast occurred at about 18:30 local time when a patrol team of infantry division was on patrol at Tabankort in Mali, the release added.
