Dhaka: A court in Dhaka on Sunday granted police to question four persons for two days in connection with a case filed against them on charges of human smuggling.

Dhaka's Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) passed the order after police prayed for a 10-day police custody.

Police arrested the four–Arifur Rahman, Hasibul Islam Sabuj, Zakia Sultana and Firoj Alam Shuvo–from a house in Banosree area under Rampura Police Station on Saturday and rescued 10 children from their clutches.

The detainees claimed themselves innocent saying that they kept the children together for activities of a non-government organization (NGO).
