Social Welfare minister dies
Dhaka: Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali died at a hospital in Singapore on Monday morning, confirm his family members.
Earlier, on 5 September, the social welfare minister airlifted to Singapore with life support for better treatment as he suffered a heart attack.
On 3 September, Mohsin Ali was admitted to Birdem Hospital in the city with various complications, including pneumonia and kidney problems. He was life support at the hospital.
Later, he suffered a heart attack while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital and was kept under mechanical ventilation.
President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock at the death of Syed Mohsin Ali.
