Barisal: At least 30 people were injured when a bus slammed against a boundary wall at Rupatoli on the Barisal-Patuakhali Highway in sadar upazila of Barisal on Friday.

Local people said the accident took place in the area at about 8:00am when a bus hit against a roadside boundary wall as its driver lost control over steering while getting down from Dapdapia Bridge, leaving 30 people injured.

Of the injured, 27 were taken to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital while the rest three were given first aid.
