Bagerhat: A case was filed against two schoolboys allegedly for spreading photoshopped nude image of an eighth grader girl on the internet.

The case was lodged under the Pornography Control Act 2012 and Information Communication Technology (Amendment) Act 2013 on Saturday accusing the duo who is the schoolmates of the said girl, who as it was reported, had to be hospitalised due the shock from the incident.

According to the case statement, the accused schoolboys forcefully took photos of the victim with a mobile phone on September 13 last.

Later, they photoshopped the picture and spread on the internet to apparently harass the girl.

The victim’s father filed a case with Swarankhola police, said officer-in-charge Rezaul Karim.

Earlier on September 16, the father of the victim lodged a written complaint with the school authorities in this connection.

Acting principal of said they have already expelled the two accused and formed a six-member probe body to investigate the incident further.
