Dhaka: Detectives held 17 suspected members of doping gang from different areas of the capital on Saturday night.

Muntasirul Islam said the law enforcers conducted separate drives in different areas of the city in the last 24 hours till 6:00am on Sunday and arrested the 17 doping gang members.

The media wing of DMP via a text message said the Detective Branch also seized medicines used for making people unconscious from the doping gang members.

DMP organised a press conference at about 11:00am at DMP media wing branch in this connection.

Identity of the arrestees could not be known immediately.
