Dhaka: A gang of robbers took away gold jewelleries and cash after stabbing two people at a house at Purba Goran in the city’ s Khilgaon area early on Sunday.

The Khilgaon police said a gang of robbers numbering four entered the three-storey building of A K Golam Sarwar in Purba Goran area at about 5:30am.

The hoodlums entered the house cutting window grill of the first floor.

Later, they looted 30tolas of gold jwelleries and cash Tk one lakh from the house.

The robbers also stabbed two inmates of the house when they tried to resist them.

The injured were admitted to a local hospital.
