Dhaka: Three persons including a University Grant Commission (UGC) official, who were held for their alleged involvement in medical entrance test question paper leak, have been sent to police custody for two days.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Snigdha Chakrabarty on Sunday granted police two days to quiz the three persons after police appealed for seven days.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the three persons on Friday.
The combined entrance tests for the medical and dental college MBBS-BDS courses for the 2015-16 academic session was held across the country on Friday.
RAB officials said three people including UGC assistant director Omar Siraj were held during a raid at UGC headquarter in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area.
