Dhaka: British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BATB) has received the ‘ICSB National Award for Corporate Governance Excellence 2014’ in manufacturing companies category for practicing good governance for the second time.

BATB Managing Director Shehzad Munim and Board of Directors member Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan received the award from Finance Minister AMA Muhith at a ceremony held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka recently, said a press release on Wednesday.

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) has given the awards in ten different categories to promote corporate governance excellence in the country. BATB also received the same award in 2013.
