Dhaka: Bangladesh Bank on Tuesday asked the banks not to take any fee through pay order or bank draft from the job seekers while receiving their job applications.

A circular, issued by the Banking Regulation and Policy Department (BRPD) of the central bank, said it is being observed that despite a request from the Bangladesh Bank, some banks are still receiving fee from the job seekers in the form of pay order or bank draft.

‘Now this has been decided that no bank shall take any fee from the job seekers in the form of pay order or bank drafts,’ said the circular.
