Transpay CEO visits Dhaka

Dhaka: Transpay Chief Executive Officer Samish Kumar is now visiting Dhaka, said a press release obtained by NTV on Wednesday.
He met Transpay’s bank partners in Dhaka with strategies for further growing digital economy in Bangladesh.
New York-based Transpay is a payments platform that powers international payments for global marketplaces and freelance platforms.
Samish Kumar in a statement said: “With more and more Bangladeshi freelancers indicating their desire and preference to receive project payments directly to their local bank accounts, Transpay offers the world’s largest, independent direct-to-bank payment network, including more than 60 local Bangladeshi banks.”
“Bangladeshi freelancers provide services to businesses around the world via freelancing platforms, and Transpay is removing the friction of getting paid quickly, securely and cost-effectively,” said Kumar.
“Transpay is proud to be a part of the Bangladeshi community,” said Kumar.
He hoped that the mutual business Transpay and Bangladeshi banks would the strength the potential of the local freelancer market.
