General Assembly of JCI Bangladesh was held at Banani Club in Dhaka on Sunday. The new board was declared during the General Assembly to carry the responsibilities of JCI Bangladesh for 2018.

Fayaz Atiqul Islam was elected as National President for 2018, who is currently serving as National General Legal Counsel of JCI Bangladesh and contributed in JCI Bangladesh in different capacity in past years.

Irfan Islam, National Secretary General was elected as Executive Vice President for 2018. Sakib Ahmed, National Director & Erfan Haque, National Training Committee Chair has been elected as Vice Presidents for 2018. 

Maruful Islam Jhalak was selected as National Secretary General, Sarah Kamal as National General Legal Counsel and Mir Sahed Ali as National Treasurer for 2018. Niaz Morshed Elite was selected as Special Assistant to National President.

Apart from them, Ismat Jahan, Arman Ahmed Khan, Salehin F. Nahian and Ziaul Hoque was selected as National Director for 2018.

The oath taking ceremony of the 2018 board has been conducted right after the declaration of the National Governing Board for 2018.

The General Assembly has been conducted by 2017 National President of JCI Bangladesh Ahmed Ashfaqur Rahman. The election has been conducted by Immediate Past National President Shakhawat Hossain Mamun on Sunday.

In the GA, all 7 National Governing Body Members of 2017 and Local Presidents, members and distinguished guests were present. On behalf of National Advisory Council, Mostafizur Rahman Sohel was present at the event.

The General Assembly of JCI Bangladesh was indeed an event filled with colors.
