Dhaka: The 24th three-day annual ‘US Trade Show’ will begin on Thursday in Dhaka aiming to promote economic ties between Bangladesh and the United States.
The US Embassy is partnering with the American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh to organize the trade extravaganza at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. Reports UNB.
The trade show will host booths from 100 US businesses, showcasing American products and services available in Bangladesh.
Attracting more than 10,000 participants, the 2016 US Trade Show will demonstrate the United States’ commitment to deepening and broadening the US-Bangladesh business relationship, according to US Embassy in Dhaka.
‘The US Trade Show highlights the great American products available in Bangladesh and the strong partnership between US and Bangladeshi businesses,’ said US Ambassador Marcia Bernicat.
‘We are delighted that bilateral trade in goods reached nearly $7 billion in 2015 and believe this event will help increase our trade,’ she said.
