Dhaka: A notice regarding cut-down in fuel prices will be issued within seven to ten days, says State Minister for Power, Energy, & Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid.

He said this at the secretariat on Wednesday.

The state minister said the prices of Octen and MS will be reduced by Tk 10-15, of Diesel by Tk 4-5, and of Kerosene by Tk 5-6 per litre. The owners will be informed three days before the notice is issued.

Nasrul Hamid said many fuel pumps have been shut down before reducing the prices.

Licences will be cancelled if any Pump is found closed after the notice, warned Hamid.

He also said that owner will not face loss if prices are adjusted.
