Dhaka: Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) and Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited (Desco) have signed an agreement recently on the payment of electricity bill of Desco through the bank.

SIBL Deputy Managing Director AMM Farhad and Desco Company Secretary signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations, said a press release on Monday.

SIBL Senior Executive Vice-president Md Shafiqul Islam, Desco Managing Director Brig Gen Md Shahid Sarwar and other senior executives of both the organisations were present on the occasion.
