He mentioned that last year FY15 as well, NBR exceeded its revenue target by mobilising Tk 1,35,709 crore against the set target of Tk 1,35,028 crore.

During the period the FY16, NBR has also established claims over an additional amount of Tk 13,000 crore which will come through book adjustment from the finance division as arrear revenue from Petrobangla, he added.

Expressing his gratefulness to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her all-out kind guidance, Nojibur Rahman said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been a constant source of encouragement for NBR.

‘We are also very much thankful to finance minister for his valuable supervision and encouragement as well as strategic directions,’ he added.
