Dhaka: United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) has been awarded as joint first runner up under the category of private sector banks for ‘Best Presented Annual Reports 2015’.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith handed over the award to Managing Director, UCB Muhammed Ali at South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Award giving ceremony held in a city hotel recently, said a press release on Saturday.

Bangladesh bank Governor Fazle Kabir, Senior Executive Vice President and CFO of UCB M Habibur Rahman Chowdhury, FCA along with other officials were present at the event.

United Commercial Bank Limited is one of the private commercial banks of the country which is in operation since its inception in 1983.
