DU gets 30 computers from South Korea

Dhaka: South Korean Embassy in Dhaka has provided 30 desktop computers for the cyber center of the central library of Dhaka University.
Ambassador Ahn Seong doo handed over the computers to Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor AASM Arifin Siddique on Thursday.
The Korean envoy said the two countries have been enjoying excellent relationship for the last 42 years.
‘Korea has been and will be an excellent partner of Bangladesh for its development,’ he said adding that this initiative is really a highly appreciable move which will help the students to know more about the modern world.
The computers have already been set up in the cyber center of the central library in Dhaka University.
The Dhaka University VC thanked the Korean government and Korean Ambassador for the donation.
He said Korea is Bangladesh’s development partner and the Korean government has been providing supports in various fields specially education sector of Bangladesh for long.
