Mymensingh: Vice-chancellor of Bangladesh Agriculture University (BAU) Professor Dr Rafiqul Haque resigned on Tuesday following a month of agitation by a section of teachers.

‘I’ve already sent my resignation letter to the ministry concerned tonight (Tuesday night),’ said Rafiqul Haque.

A section of teachers of the university under the banner of ‘Ganotantrik Shikkhak Forum’ had been on a movement for over a month demanding resignation of Rafiqul Haque for his alleged irregularities and corruption.
