Dhaka: Education Ministry on Monday announced new dates for three HSC examinations that were postponed on 29 March.

The exams were rescheduled as elections to three cities— Dhaka North, Dhaka South and Chittagong— are timetabled to be held on 28 April.

HSC exams that were previously scheduled for 26, 27 and 28 April now will be held on 2, 4 and 16 May respectively, confirmed Education Ministry deputy chief information officer Subodh Chandra Dhali.

HSC exams, started on 1 April, were taken by at least 10.73 lakh examinees this year.
