Dhaka: Health Ministry on Tuesday decided not to increase the seats for private medical college hospitals in the academic sessions 2015-16. 

The meeting on the policy of private medical colleges also decided to cancel registration of the additional students. 

It also decided to take decision to this end after thorough inspection of the facilities of the private medical colleges. 

Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim, who presided over the meeting, requested the students and their guardians to take decision of admission after knowing everything properly. 

Among others, State Minister for Health Zahid Malik, Health Secretary Syed Manjurul Islam, and Director General (DG) of Directorate of Health, Prof Dr Abul Kalam Azad were present at the meeting.
