Dhaka: The results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will be published on 9 August.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Sunday in a press conference in his Dhaka office said the result will be announced on 9 August afternoon. Details will be available at the ministry’s website (http://www.moedu.gov.bd).

The examinations began on 1 April, with 10,73,884 examinees taking part from 8,305 educational institutions across the country under 10 education boards.

The examinations were held at 2,419 centres across the country.

A total of 241 students sat for the examinations from seven overseas centres, too.

Besides, 8,86,933 students sat for the examinations from eight general education boards while 84,360 from madrasah board, 98,247 from vocational and 4,344 from DIBS.
