The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations, which were scheduled to take place on 8 February, held on Friday due to the countrywide shut down imposed by the BNP-led 20-Party alliance.  

SSC English first paper examinations held from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Friday.

The SSC and equivalent exams of 2, 4, 8, 10 and 12 February were also postponed.  The 10th February’s English second paper examination will be held on Saturday.

Around 15lakh students are participating in the examinations, which have been commenced on 6 February, from 27,808 institutions across the country.

Besides, 297 examinees are appearing at the public examinations in eight centres abroad.
