Dhaka: US Embassy Dhaka will host its sixth ‘Road to the White House Facebook’ chat on Tuesday about a day in the life of a candidate with Mayor Raul L Reyes of El Cenizo, Texas, reports UNB.

The chat will begin at 7:00pm and feature Raul L. Reyes, who was first elected to the office of Mayor of El Cenizo, Texas at 21 years of age, making him the youngest mayor in the United States.

He will engage with Bangladeshis on how candidates effectively reach voters in the US elections and discuss his experiences campaigning, the US Embassy said on Sunday.

Starting on May 10 and running through the presidential inauguration in January 2017, the Embassy is hosting a US expert each month who will conduct a one-hour Facebook chat on a specific election-related topic.

Mayor Reyes ran again and won with 81 percent of the votes for his second term. He is currently serving his fifth consecutive term.

Mayor Reyes has worked to get city streets paved, the El Cenizo Fire Station established, the El Cenizo Police department and the El Cenizo Municipal Court created, and the town’s first municipal park established.
