Dhaka: The US Embassy in Bangladesh, including the consular section and the American centre, will remain closed on May 10 (Wednesday) and May 11 (Thursday) in observance of Buddha Purnima and Shab-e-Barat, two Bangladeshi national holidays, said a US embassy release on Monday.

Emergency services for American citizens will be available and they are requested to call on 5566-2000 and ask for the duty officer, the release added.
