4 apps on healthcare launched
Dhaka: Bangladesh Electronic Medical Records has brought out 4 apps on cloud-based medical health records, with a programme held at Dhaka Club on Wednesday.
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu inaugurated the apps at Samson H Chowdhury lounge of the club as chief guest.
Bangladesh Electronic Medical Records (BDEMR) took an initiative to provide the apps, which were developed by Dr Ashit Bardhan, consultant anesthesiologist of Langley Memorial Hospital in Vancouver of Canada.
Dr Ashit obtained MBBS degree from Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Speaking at the programme, Inu said a new era has been introduced in the country’s health sector by opening these apps, which will help people to get healthcare services easily.
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Kamrul Hasan Khan, Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) Secretary General Dr M Ehteshamul Huq Choudhury, amomg others, were present on the occasion.
