Nivea is set to branch out from its famous skincare creams and enter the fragrance market.

The German-owned brand will launch its first scent, ‘Nivea Eau de Toilette', in Germany at the end of October, Women's Wear Daily (WWD) reports. A later launch is being planned for Austria.

The fragrance will include notes of Lily of the Valley, lavender, ylang-ylang, freesia, mandarin and sandalwood, and will be priced at 24 Euros (around US $27) for 30ml. It will be sold online and in the brand's stores.

Founded in 1882, Nivea has gone on to become one of the world's biggest skincare brands, known for its moisturizing lotions for face and body along with lip care.
