Ace allrounder Shakib Al Hasan became the first Bangladesh cricketer to make 4,000 one-day international runs on Wednesday during the ICC World Cup 2015 clash against debutants Afghanistan.
Shakib reached the landmark in his 142nd ODI when he clipped a ball from Aftab Alam for a boundary in the 37th over at Canberra's Manuka Oval.
Shakib made Bangladesh proud as he regained the top slot in one-day cricket with left-handed opener has now again on the top of the list in all three formats in the latest ICC ranking release on 2 February.
