Yunus meets Dan Preda

Dhaka: Nobel laureate and founder of Grameen Bank Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus on Thursday night had a meeting with delegation chief of the European Parliament Subcommittee on Human Rights Cristian Dan Preda in Dhaka.
The meeting was held at the residence of European Union Ambassador in Dhaka Pierre Mayaudon.
Yunus stayed there for nearly two hours and had dinner with them.
However, it could not be known what they discussed at the meeting.
Preda posted photos with Yunus on Facebook and wrote that he met for the first time, a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize - Muhammad Yunus.
He also wrote that Yunus received the highest distinction in 2006, for the invention of a form of microcredit that has changed the way to understand the spirit of enterprise.
