Bomb attack on Rowshan Ershad’s house
Miscreants threw crude bombs at the Mymensingh residence of opposition leader Rowshan Ershad in the early hours of Sunday.
Police held district Swechchhasebak Dal senior joint convener Nuruzzaman over his alleged link with the attack.
It was understood that miscreants threw two crude bombs among which one remained unexploded.
The attackers also set fire on jute-made sacks and threw those to Rowshan’s house.
Being informed police reached the spot and held Nuruzzaman. They also seized an unexploded crude bomb and the sacks.
Mymensingh Kotwali police officer-in-charge confirmed the incident saying that police has already opened an investigation to capture others involved in the attack.
