Bangladeshi cricketer Al-Amin Hossain is being sent back to home from Australia on disciplinary grounds. But gossips are in the air whether this punishment is being given only for coming late in the hotel. A Daily in Dhaka has raised question whether Al-Amin had connection with match fixers. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) media committee chairman Jalal Yunus has denied the claim.

Violating rule, Al-Amin came back to Brisbane hotel two hours late on February 19.  He has been suspended from the team as he was out of hotel till 12 midnight without the permission of the team management. ICC Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) informed Bangladesh team manager Khaled Mahmud Sujon about the ‘mysterious’ behaviour of Al-Amin.

Meanwhile, a daily English newspaper in Dhaka has published a report claiming Al Amin’s connection with match fixers. But Jalal Yunus said to news agency AFP that ‘ACSU did not bring any allegation against Al-Amin. We took action against him due to his violation of team discipline. There is no authenticity of the reports claiming his connection with match fixers.’

Al amin played 6 Test matches and 11 One Day Internationals since his debut in 2013. His performance in the domestic cricket brought him the chance to play in the World Cup. But he is coming back to country without playing a match in this great show.
