The Interpol has issued a Red Notice to arrest BNP Senior Vice Chairman Tarique Rahman.

His name was found at the end of the ‘wanted’ Bangladeshis’ list of the Interpol on its website.

But it is not sure when this notice was issued.

In the notice, it has been said that Tarique Rahman is ‘wanted’ by the judicial authorities of Bangladesh for prosecution/to serve a sentence.

It has been mentioned that Tarique is under the charge of murder and explosion of hand grenade in an Awami League meeting.

Tarique is one of the prime accused as an alleged mastermind of the conspiracy leading to the attack on the Awami League rally on Bangabandhu Avenue on 21 August 2004 that killed 24 people.
