2 bullet-hit bodies found

Jessore: Bullet-hit bodies of two young men were recovered from Arpara area of Sadar upazila, Jessore on Friday morning.
The deceased are Joynal, in his forties, and Litu, believed to be 38, residents of Hashimpur village of the upazila.
Police said the body have several injury marks. It is believed that the youths were killed by someone.
Local people said the deceased were supporters of Awami League but they were not actively involved with any political parties.
The in-charge of Jessore police post in the outskirts said local people discovered the bodies near a waterbody at Arpara village.
Later, police went to the spot and recovered the bodies.
The bodies were sent to Jessore Medical College Hospital morgue.
Police said there are several cases filed against the deceased for criminal activities.
Joynal’s brother, Islam Ali Tarafder told NTV Joynal and Litu went on missing after they went towards Aripara area at about 10:00pm on Thursday. Their families also found their mobile phones switched off.
He claimed earlier miscreants hurled bombs at Joynul’s residence. Police did not take any action against the attackers.
