Rangamati: Two persons were killed as bus plunged at Shapchhari area of Naniarchar upazila, Rangamati early on Thursday.

At least ten people were injured in the accident.

The Kotwali police said the accident took place when the bus was on its way to Naniarchar Ghilachari market from Reserve market at about 6:00am.

The deceased are Mamun and Alamgir, both of them were small traders of the Reserve market.

The injured were admitted at Rangamati Sadar Hospital, said police.

One of injured passengers of the bus, Raju Sheel, said the bus plunged on the road at Shapchhari area as the driver lost control over it and two of the passengers died on their way to hospital.
