Dhaka: Awami League-backed mayoral candidate of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCCA) Annisul Huq on Tuesday said he is completely sure of his win in the election, reports UNB.

Casting his vote at Banani Bidyaniketon School and College, he said he met the maximum number of voters and looked at their eyes, and what he said ‘he could read them’.

“I hope the residents of Dhaka will pick the best mayor,” he told reporters.

Responding to a question, Annisul Huq said he did not have any report of any irregularity, and the Election Commission will look into complaints, if any.

He also said he would accept the result whatever it is.
