4 to die for killing trader

Mymensingh: A Mymensingh court on Monday convicted four people and sentenced them to death for killing a trader in 2008.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Jahirul Kabir handed down the verdict on Monday after examining the records and witnesses.
The convicts are Emdadul Haque, 24, Ziaul Haque, 23, Anisur Rahman, 22 and Mir Jahan, 25.
According to the prosecution, Abdur Razzak Fakir, a poultry trader of Madhupur village in Tarakanda upazila, was stabbed to death by the convicts on his way to home over previous enmity on 15 October 2008.
They also looted Tk 15,000 from his possession.
Hazrat Ali Fakir, elder brother of the deceased, filed a case against the four people.
