Chittagong: Two workers were killed and another was injured in mudslide while cutting hill at Dakkhin Para at Banshkhali in Chittagong on Monday.

The deceased were Mir Kamal, in his thirties, son of Nurul Islam and Liakat, in his twenties, son of Abdur Rahman of South Charti village in Satkania upazila.

Station, said a chunk of mud collapsed on the three workers while they were cutting hill in the afternoon, leaving the duo dead on the spot and another injured.

The injured worker was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
