Mamata in Dhaka

Paschimbanga Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is welcomed by state minister for foreign affairs Shahriar Alam on Friday in Dhaka.
Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of the Indian State of Paschimbanga, has arrived in Dhaka.
An Air India airplane carrying Mamata and her retinue reached Dhaka Shahjalal International Airport at about 8:45pm on Friday.
She was greeted by the government’s high officials at the airport, according to media reports.
Mamata will accompany Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka tomorrow, in a programme marking the exchange of the instrument of ratification on the historic land boundary deal with Bangladesh on 6 June.
