Dhaka: Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over country, said a met office release in Dhaka on Thursday.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country’s maximum rainfall during the last twenty-four hours recorded by 467millimeters (mm) at Cox’s Bazar followed by 241mm at Kutubdia, 177mm at Teknaf, 162mm at Barisal and 128mm at Chittagong, the release highlighted.

Maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded by 31.1 degree celsius at Sylhet and minimum temperature was 23.5 degree celsius on Thursday.

Today’s sunset at Dhaka will be at 6:50pm and tomorrow’s sunrise in the capital will be at 5:13am.
