Dhaka: Water levels in 21 rivers stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rises and 64 stations recorded falls.
Among the 84 monitored water level stations, one is above danger level, a bulletin issued by FFWC said on Sunday.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna river system is in rising trend which may likely to continue in next 48 hours.
The Ganges-Padma and the Surma-Kushiyara river system are in falling trend.
All These river systems except Padma may likely to fall in next 72 hours.
Significant rainfall was recorded in some stations in different districts during the last 24 hours ending at about 6:00am on Sunday.
A total of 76mm rainfall were recorded at Durgapur, 58mm at Kanaighat, 57mm at Bogra, 26mm at Bandarban.
