Gazipur: Police recovered the body of a schoolgirl from Kasimpur area in Gazipur on Monday morning.

The victim 14-year-old Nargis Akhter was a student of class seven.

Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body from a ditch of the area and sent it to hospital morgue.

Chakrabati police in-charge sub-inspector Mamun confirmed the incident.
