Dhaka: War criminal Salauddin Quader Chowdhury has said his prayer before his execution after a bath.
The jail Masjid Imam Manir Hossain has conducted the prayer session at about 12:00am Sunday, according to media reports.
Salauddin said his Tawba, which, in Islamic tradition, means repentance for sins.
As per the law, the death convict is given opportunity to say his prayers and ask for forgiveness to Allah.
BNP leader Salauddin will be executed shortly for his crimes against humanity committed during country’s Liberation War back in 1971.
