Narayanganj: Miscreants killed a saloon owner in Isdaer area under Fatullah upazila of Narayanganj last night.

The deceased is Abul Kasem, 42, son of Mahiuddin, a resident of Uttar Gabtoli area under the upazila.

Quoting family members, police said the miscreants might have beaten and strangulated him to death and dumped the body near Osmani Stadium of the area.

Being informed by locals, police recovered the body on Sunday morning and sent it to Narayanganj General Hospital morgue, said Fatullah police officer-in-charge Asaduzzaman.
