Nilphamari: A woman and her two minor daughters were found dead at Dakkhin Deshibari Asrayan Prakalpa in Jaldhaka upazila on Sunday.

The deceased are Fenchi Begum, 32, and her two daughters–Aklima, 7, and Taslima, 9.

Getting no response from Fenchi and her daughters, local people peeped through the fence of their house and saw her hanging from the ceiling of the house and informed police at about 9:30am, said Jaldhaka police officer-in-charge (investigation) Ayub Ali.

Later, police broke open the door and found her hanging and bodies of her two daughters lying on the bed. The bodies were sent to Niphamari Hospital morgue.

Fenchi along with her two daughters had been living in the Deshibari Asrayan Prokolpo.

The reason behind their death is still unknown.
