Chuadanga: A man was beaten to death allegedly by his father-in-law and brother-in-law over family feud at Farmpara of Sadar upazila in Chuadanga on early Sunday.

The deceased is Tutul Hossain, son of late Abdul Khalek of the area, reports UNB, a local news agency.

Chuadanga Sadar police officer-in charge Saiful Islam said Tutul’s wife Nazma Khatun went to her father’s house at Farmpara following a family feud.

On Saturday, when Tutul went to his in-laws house to bring back Nazma he locked into an altercation with Nur Mia, father-in-law of Tutul.

At one stage of altercation, Nur Mia and his son beat up Tutul with GI pipe at about 11:00pm, leaving him critically injured.

Later, locals rescued him and took to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on early Sunday.

However, police arrested Nazma Khatun in this connection.
