Barisal: A minor orphan was found hanging from the ceiling of his room at Barisal Government Shishu Sadan in Barisal city on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased is Mashiur Rahman Yusuf, around 12, reported UNB.  

Kotoali police officer-in-charge Shakhawat Hossain said some students of the orphanage spotted Mashiur hanging from the ceiling of his room at about 5:45pm.

Later, they rescued and sent the boy to a local hospital where doctors declared him dead.
