Natore: A farmer was found dead in a pond at Sohagbari village in Singra of Natore on Sunday morning.

Deceased Jonab Ali, a resident of the village, went missing on Friday after he had left his house with two young persons, said the Singra police.

Police, however, arrested Rita Begum, a neighbour of Jonab Ali, who had reportedly an extramarital relation with her.

On information from Rita, police started a search in the village on Saturday night and recovered the body in tied a sack from a pond in the morning.
