Dhaka: A college student, who left home two days ago following an argument with his parents, was found dead in Dhanmondi Lake in Dhaka on Tuesday morning.

Deceased Sudipto Dutta Arjun, 19, son of Ashim Kumar Dutta, was a resident of Rayerbagh area and an HSC examinee from Bir Shreshtha Noor Mohammad Rifles Public School and College.

Local people found the body floating on the lake in front of Simanto Square at about 8:00am and informed police, said Md Mashiul Alam, sub-inspector of Dhanmondi Police Station.

Later the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The family said Sudipto went missing on Sunday night.
