Benapole: A woman was killed as a speeding bus knocked down her in front of a cinema hall in Jessore town on Friday night, reports UNB.

Jessore Kotwali Police Station officer-in-charge Iilas Hossain said a recklessly-driven bus crashed into Afsana Khan Tithi, 25, wife of Ilias Hossain and daughter of Nasiruddin Khan, leaving her severely injured when she was crossing a road along with her son Shamim, 5.

Doctors pronounced her dead after her arrival at Jassore Medical College Hospital.
